Cities in Asia's number, so the World Favorite Tourist Destination

London and Bangkok was ranked top for five years.



A number of cities in Asia a favorite destination of the world community. Starting from Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul and Hong Kong. These cities, entered the top ten list of Global Destination Cities Index.

This is the result of an annual study of MasterCard, the MasterCard Global Destination Cities Index, with 10 countries dominate the top half of the tourist destinations most frequently visited.
Bangkok still retains his position at number two, with 18.24 million international visitors and getting closer to the city tops, namely London.

Other Asian cities such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul and Hong Kong, respectively ranked at seven, eight, nine and ten.

Through a release received, MasterCard Global Destination Cities Index provides a list of the 132 most visited cities worldwide.

In addition, seven of the ten cities with the fastest growth in the number of visitors over the last six years were in Asia. Sri Lankan capital, Colombo, to lead the growth in the number of visitors, followed by Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province, China. The amount of increased travel into and out of China's impact on the five cities in East Asia enjoy high growth in the number of visitors. Meanwhile, tourism in Sri Lanka is also growing rapidly after the end of the civil war there that has lasted long enough.
